This section of the EVCA website is designed to introduce you to the world of private equity.
Increasing numbers of people are interested in the industry, and this page can help to give you a basic understanding of what the private equity and venture capital model is and how it functions ( from fundraising till exit).
The first document is a guide for potential entrepreneurs with an active interest in private equity and venture capital - Guide on Private Equity and Venture Capital for Entrepreneurs .
The second document is a report from the European Commission ( Internal Market and Services DG) on the alternative investment expert group study “ Developing European Private Equity”, a multi stakeholder analysis.
