Industry Standards

One of the goals of the European private equity sector is to provide greater transparency to its investors. As the industry has matured, there has generally been perceived to be a need for greater consistency of valuation and reporting standards by managers of, and investors in venture capital and private equity funds. EVCA has issued pan-European guidelines for the reporting and valuation of private equity portfolios and a code of conduct which all EVCA members should follow.
