EVCA undertakes comprehensive research into the activity of European private equity market on a yearly and a quarterly basis and commissions independent research to provide comparable performance indicators. The figures published in these pages are annual.
The fundraising, investment and divestment data is extracted from the EVCA Annual Survey of Pan-European Private Equity & Venture Capital Activity 2008 contained within the EVCA Yearbook 2009, also including an editorial section, which gives accounts of the industry today and provides a valuable illustration to the statistics.
