The EVCA is the prime source for industry data and reports going back to 1984.
All EVCA members receive free of charge custom data and research advice through our Research Helpdesk. This service complements the industry data and information, including quarterly and annual statistics which can be accessed throughout this website.
Rigorous and comprehensive data on private equity activity across Europe also underpins the EVCA’s promotion of the industry to institutional investors, politicians and regulators.
In addition, the EVCA continuously monitors research conducted by third parties, to enhance the provision of up-to-date information on various market segments and regions.
The EVCA established PEREP_Analytics in 2007, a comprehensive, non-commercial pan-European private equity database with its own staff and resources.
PEREP_Analytics enables the EVCA to produce rigorous research on private equity activity. It is compulsory for members to contribute to the survey.
From this data the EVCA publishes the Quarterly Activity Index and Yearbook.
In conjunction with Thomson Reuters, the EVCA supports the Pan-European Private Equity Performance Benchmarks Report, which covers the annual performance of private equity investment funds in Europe. This survey is open to private equity fund managers in Europe.
