Kazushige Kobayashi is President & CEO of Alternative Investment Capital Ltd (“AIC”), an investment advisory firm in private equity investments, established in October 2002 by Mitsubishi Corporation and Daido Life Insurance Company.
He has been engaged in private equity related business for 18 years for Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo and in London. Since 2002, he has built up business at AIC and its asset under management has grown to approx US$ 3 billion. AIC manages 4 fund of funds and provides both of discretionary investment management services and non-discretionary advisory services to its clients.
Mr. Kobayashi received his Bachelor degree of economics form Hitotsubashi University in 1984.
