Adalbjörn Stefansson is Head of Buyout Fund Investments at Skandia Life, a Swedish provider of pension savings solutions with AUM of EUR 27 billion. Skandia Life currently has a target allocation of 10% to the asset class; 8% to buyouts and 2% to venture capital.

Prior to joining Skandia Life, Adalbjörn was Head of Private Equity at Länsförsäkringar Liv, another Swedish institutional investor. He started his career as a strategy consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in Stockholm.

Adalbjörn holds an MSc. in Business and Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MSc. in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology.
