Josyane Gold has been a partner in the private equity funds team since 1988. She has been responsible, alongside Jonathan Blake, for building the market leading team in UK and European private equity funds.

She has a wealth of experience in the area that comes from having acted, over a period of 20 years, on well over 100 private equity and venture funds, has a leading relationship with most of the firm’s major private equity clients and is a well known figure in the Private Equity industry.

Josyane writes and lectures widely, speaking frequently at Private Equity industry conferences. She has also been actively involved in EVCA’s Professional Standards initiatives, which have resulted in the publication of industry guidelines such as the EVCA Governing Principles. Josyane was a member of the European Commission Expert Panel advising in private equity whose report informed the Commission’s White Paper on investment funds, published in October 2006.

Josyane is recognised by Chambers, Legal 500 and Global Counsel as a leading adviser in private equity funds.
