Jean-Philippe Burcklen

Jean-Philippe is Head of Lower Mid-Market at the European Investment Fund (EIF), overseeing the EIF Lower Mid-Market Fund Investments activity and portfolio, and managing the EUR 1bn recently created Mezzanine Facility for Growth (MFG) fund-of-funds program from the European Investment Bank (EIB).

Jean-Philippe joined the EIF in 2000 and has 11 years of relevant fund-of-funds experience. His professional background is Investment Banking and Long Term Credit within the EIB (1995-2000) and the Paris-based Credit National, now Natixis, (1984-1995).

Jean-Philippe is an Engineer graduated from Ecole Polytechnique, a graduate from Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l’Administration Economique and has a Mater’s Degree from Université Paris IX Dauphine.
